I had visions (fantasies?) of Estee Lauder's new TurboLash All Effects Motion Mascara buzzing around my face like a mini-makeup artist. As it happens, this much-hyped tool looks like any other mascara — only, when you twist off the top, the brush vibrates. These vibrations are supposed to prevent clumps and help to separate the lashes. After three weeks of daily use, I can confirm that, A) it tickles a little, and B) I have not suffered even one clump. So, if that's worth $32 to you, go for it. No doubt it's a whole lot cheaper than an actual flying makeup artist.
TurboLash can be purchased online at Esteelauder.com/turbolash . It will roll out to Estee Lauder counters nationwide in December 2008.
