Right after that 3 p.m. Gumi binge at the office, you start wishing you carried a toothbrush in your purse. But then you'd need toothpaste too, and that starts to get bulky, not to mention messy and unsanitary (when has a toothbrush carry case ever not come open in a bag?).
So it was with enthusiasm and open mouths that we greeted the new Colgate Wisp, a single-use mini-toothbrush that releases a breath-freshening bead as you brush and does not require water or rinsing. We wanted to love it, we did. But the truth is, the Wisp is so small, it's like trying to brush your teeth with a paperclip.
A stick of sugar free gum is just as effective, more satisfying and creates less packaging waste. Our advice: Skip the Wisp.
