You actually spritz Poo-Pourri in the loo before you, ahem, go No. 2 to create a sort of trap on the toilet water that blocks offending odors before they pollute the air. The spray, made of essential oils, smells like a lemon cream cookie.

Is it 100 percent effective? No. But it's a whole lot better than the peach aerosol stuff, which seems only to exacerbate the problem.
