Take your pet, along with family and friends, on the Woofer and Hoofer 2.5-mile walk around Alimagnet Park (on County Road 11, two blocks north of County Road 42 in Burnsville). The May 2 event benefits Minnesota Valley Humane Society, which needs donations to tend all the shelter animals under its care.

Be sure your pet is vaccinated and is on a leash. Animals will be provided with water, and humans will have breakfast and lunch items available throughout the event. The walk will be held rain or shine.
